Monitor and Care Technician

Sign-On Bonus Available. Receive 17% Weekday Nights, 26% Weekend Nights and 15% Weekend Day shift differentials.

Minimum Offer : $15.30 / hr, Maximum Offer : $22.95 / hr.

Job Summary :

Work under the direction of licensed personnel to interpret, document and mount EKG rhythm strips.

Monitor designated patients, recognize and respond to routine rhythm and emergent situations.

Notify appropriate personnel of changes and life-threatening rhythms.

Provide basic patient care, take and record vital signs, and assist with activities of daily living.

Document patient information in the Electronic Medical Record.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

High School or GED Equivalent.

MA or PCT or CNA or DD214 or 2 sem nurs schl or UNMH Tech.

1 year directly related experience.

Heavy Work : Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and / or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
