Responsibilities

  • Identify issues quickly and develop a well-rounded and detailed problem statement to minimize the time required to triage and resolve customer concerns.
  • Lead Short Loop Morning and Evening market meetings with new claims information.
  • Investigate warranty issues and assign to responsible parties.
  • Work with plants to investigate processes associated with warranty.
  • Expedite part analysis for results on high-priority investigations due to Short Loop.
  • Communicate warranty and plant quality issues between Control Tower and plant engineering.
  • Ensure vehicle warranty is accurately documented, including broken clean points and differentiating old vs. new issues.
  • Manage warranty claim coverage and portfolio for assigned propulsion lines / plants.
  • Participate in new launches with a focus on Field Early Warning (FEW).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, supplier operations, or quality.
  • Warranty experience is mandatory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to synthesize data and communicate clearly at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented, team player, flexible, capable of prioritizing, and a quick learner.
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written).

    • Preferred Requirements

  • Familiarity with automotive systems.
  • Knowledge of Palantir applications (MAP, Contour).
  • Familiarity with dealer service information.
