Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and reliable Trash Truck Driver to join our team. As a Sanitation Worker, you will be responsible for collecting the garbage and recyclables within the community. Your duties may also include ensuring the organization follows local and state law and safety standards. At the end of your shift, you will bring the refuse that has been collected to a transfer station or landfill. Responsibilities :

• Work outdoors year-round and in all weather conditions
• Safely drive a large garbage truck and operate the truck mechanisms for lifting and dumping the garbage cans and dumpsters
• Collect large or heavy objects manually.

Qualifications :

• Previous work experience as a Sanitation Worker or in a similar role
• Ability to routinely lift, push and pull 50+ pounds with proper lifting techniques
• Knowledge of proper waste disposal practices
• Reliable and able to work independently or with sanitation helper
