Associate Manager, Advertising And Online Giving
Under the supervision of the Director of Online Giving and the Manager of Online Giving, the Associate Manager, Advertising and Online Giving will handle all aspects of digital production related to the Online Giving program. They will work closely with Development, Communications, Creative Services, and Digital colleagues across NYPL.
We are looking for someone we can count on to :
- Own : managing, alongside the Manager of Online Giving, a monthly online ad calendar, managing production of online ads in partnership with our ad vendor, producing fundraising emails, producing and testing donation forms and pages, implementing A / B tests
- Teach : A / B testing and advertising best practices
- Learn : stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, identify new approaches and technology that can strengthen the program, ensure approved changes are delivered in a timely and effective manner
- Improve : the program on an ongoing basis by offering technical expertise related to online fundraising
Some expectations for this role are that within :
1 month, this person will : produce and proof fundraising emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, produce digital advertising across platforms and track ad spends, become familiar with the online fundraising calendar and campaigns3 months, this person will : implement A / B tests, assist with reporting needs, troubleshoot technical issues across platforms in collaboration with Developments digital agency6 months and beyond, this person will : help ensure that digital platformssuch as Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Luminate Online, etc.are properly configured to track KPIs, brainstorm and track testing across digital platformsResponsibilities :
Produces and proofs fundraising emails in Salesforce Marketing CloudProduces and tests donation forms and pagesProduces digital ads across platforms and tracks ad spends in partnership with a vendorHandles setup of automated emails in Salesforce Marketing CloudCodes and tests HTML emails across browsers, platforms, and devicesManages email and ad target segmentationImplements A / B tests and reporting out on resultsEnsures that pages, forms, and emails are properly tested and codedPerforms other related duties as requiredRequired Education, Experience & Skills :
Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience2+ years relevant experienceExperience using content management systems and constituent relationship management software and solid understanding of audience segmentation and data integrationFamiliarity with digital marketing campaignsAbility to solve problems, meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and manage resources effectively and in a detail-oriented mannerAbility to multi-task projects and deadlinesExpertise in HTML and CSSKnowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and / or Luminate OnlineKnowledge of Google Analytics, Drupal, Raisers Edge, and / or PhotoshopFamiliarity with UX and UI designCore Values :
