Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Float Pool Nurse, you will have the unique opportunity to make a significant difference across various units within our hospital. Your high-level critical thinking skills and vast clinical knowledge will be invaluable as you navigate different assignments.

About Your Future Team :

  • Experience excellent communication and teamwork among all hospital members.

  • Your Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate and provide patient care under the direction of the Director, Manager, or Nurse Manager.
  • Deliver nursing care in accordance with hospital policies, state Nursing Practice Acts, and ANA Standards of Practice.
  • What You’ll Need :

  • BSN preferred.
  • Current Missouri RN licensure required (or multistate RN license with MO RN license within 90 days).
  • BLS certification required at hire and maintained.
  • ACLS certification required within 6 months.
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 90 days and annually thereafter.
  • Minimum of eight (8) hours of cerebrovascular-related continuing education per fiscal year.
  • Credentialing in trauma care (TNCC) within 6 months and eight (8) hours of trauma-related continuing education per year.
  • 1-2 years of previous experience preferred, especially in emergency, pre-hospital, or critical care settings.
