Overview
Role : Assistant Store Manager (Fashion Island). As the Assistant Store Manager, you will be the Manager’s right hand, helping to lead and execute all store efforts and act as store leader when the Manager is not present. You will support all aspects of store operations to ensure a superior customer experience and help drive sales targets. Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in the daily business operations of the retail store
- Oversee the team
- Manage store opening and closing procedures
- Reporting
- Inventory management in partnership with Store Manager
- Training and performance management in partnership with Store Manager
- Lead and guide the team in day-to-day store operations
- Motivate the sales team in partnership with Store Manager
- Tasking team members
- Handle register and POS
- Count and manage cash deposits
- Build and maintain a loyal client base through clienteling
- Achieve and exceed individual sales goals
- Maintain overall cleanliness and tidiness of shop floor and stockroom
- Maintain store visual standards in line with brand guidelines
- Receive and store shipments
- Replenish the shop floor
- Assist with other ad hoc tasks as requested by the store manager
Your Profile
3 years minimum retail operations and / or management experience with a luxury or contemporary retailerAbility to work a minimum of 40 hours per weekA passion for fashion and understanding of industry trendsEntrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on, can-do approachAbility to collaborate with partners and be a team playerProven track record of building locale clientele and strong sales generationStrong talent development and leadership skillsStrong attention to detail and business acumen; proven track record of driving business from analytics and team developmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProactive with a high level of ownership, accountability, and initiativeAbility to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and / or holidaysAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needsSeniority level
