Job Description

Manufacturing Process Engineer - Medical Device manufacturing

Established medical device company developing advanced product line seeks Manufacturing Process Engineer to join R&D team. Focus on DFM, process scale-up, and commercialization of complex single-use devices.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design for manufacture and scalability of device components
  • Develop, optimize, and transfer processes from R&D to production
  • Create 3D models, technical drawings, fixtures, and prototypes
  • Execute DOE, validation protocols, and statistical analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and component vendors

Requirements :

  • BS or MS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Plastics, or Biomedical Engineering
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing complex catheter systems
  • Background in endoscopic, vascular, or cardiac catheter development (highly valued)
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks and shop tools (drill presses, bandsaws); lathe and milling experience is a bonus
  • Strong grasp of statistics for design optimization and process control
  • Working knowledge of medical device regulatory requirements

    • Compensation & Benefits :

  • Base Salary : $110K-$130K (DOE)
  • 10% annual bonus
