About the Role: We are hiring a professional and reliable Armed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of your assigned post. This role involves maintaining a visible, professional presence; responding to incidents; and ensuring the safety of clients, staff, and the public.

Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities may vary by post and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), but generally include:

• Routinely patrol the entire school campus—by vehicle and on foot—including hallways and outdoor areas to maintain a visible security presence and deter potential threats.
• Apply effective communication and conflict-resolution skills to calmly defuse tense or volatile situations, prioritizing the safety and well-being of everyone involved.
• Stay alert and attentive at all times, quickly recognizing unusual behavior, safety concerns, or potential risks within the campus environment.
• Prioritize the protection and well-being of students, staff, parents, and visitors, helping to sustain a secure and welcoming school atmosphere.
• React quickly and appropriately to incidents or emergencies, following established protocols to manage situations effectively and minimize risk.
• Respond immediately to campus alarm activations, assess the situation, and take appropriate action in accordance with established safety and security procedures.
• Accurately document and report all incidents, disturbances, or safety concerns to the proper authorities or school administration to ensure clear communication and proper follow-up.
• Communicate effectively with clients, the public, and supervisors.
• Follow all site-specific SOPs, company policies, local laws and regulations, maintaining strict confidentiality regarding site-related activities.
• Use technology efficiently (smartphones, reporting tools, scheduling software).
• Represent Precision Security Team with professionalism, integrity, and accountability always.

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

· 21 years of age or older

· Previous armed security experience required

· Military or law enforcement background strongly encouraged

· High school diploma or GED

· Ability to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screening

· CPR certified (or willing to complete provided training)

· Reliable personal transportation (public transit/rideshare not permitted for firearm transport)

· Able to train and become certified to use an approved firearm

· Able to safely use, maintain, operate, and manipulate a firearm, handcuffs, and other issued gear

· Able to wear a duty belt and exterior tactical vest (position-specific) for the duration of assigned shifts

· Able to stand or walk for up to eight hours at a time

· Able to get in and out of a vehicle frequently throughout the shift (position-specific)

· Able to pass the company’s basic hand-to-hand defensive skills course

· Strong communication and situational awareness
