JOB TITLE : Engineering / Electronic Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled Engineering Drafter to join our dynamic team and continue our mission of excellence.

Job Summary : The candidate will build, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain custom built as well as commercial production test equipment. This typically includes; specialized electronic production test fixtures, wiring harnesses and other cables, and other miscellaneous electronic or electrical devices. This will require the successful candidate to be able to solder, use basic electronics related hand tools, and have great troubleshooting skills.

Key responsibilities :

• 5+ years dealing with five or more of the following :
• Wiring / soldering of prototype electronic equipment, both discretely wired and PC board based.
• Reading, interpreting, modifying, and creating electrical schematic and wiring diagrams
• Component level test and troubleshooting (IC amplifier chips, transistors, passives, and magnetics)
• Electronics systems and equipment repair (amplifiers, power supplies, signal conditioning, filters)
• Electromechanical, mechanical, or electromagnetic systems hands-on experience
• Hands-on test and troubleshooting of custom, specific purpose-built electronic test equipment
• Use of schematic capture / Spice tools for basic circuit design / troubleshooting
• Handle vacuum pumps and plumbing
