Warehouse Supervisor is to accomplish operational results by communicating department expectations and ensuring that the staff has the necessary, tools, training, and support in order to perform and exceed expectations. This is a 2nd shift position which will include scheduled weekend shifts and occasional extra hours and / or days.
Sunday through Thursday- (2pm-11pm) OR Tuesday through Saturday( 11am-8pm)
- The cleaning, picking, packing, repairing, and processing all inventories for shipment and returned product (As outlined by Standard Operating Plan).
- Schedule and assign personnel; accomplish work results; establish priorities; monitor progress; revise schedules; report results on shift production summaries.
- Maintain quality service by applying organization standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by training and leading personnel on the use of all equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Analyze and assist in the resolution of work problems. Initiate or suggest plans to motivate staff to achieve work goals.
- Ensure that the daily work assignments are carried out in a timely manner and that all deadlines are met (Using Matrix / Units of Measure).
- Supervise the auditing of all transactions inbound and outbound depending on the department.
- Manages departmental hours to budget.
- Coach, guide and develop employees and hold them accountable for performance.
- Approve employee PTO.
- Staff, train, evaluate and develop employees.
- Manage the departmental attendance / punch detail records (ADP recording).
- Treat employees fairly to help with employee morale.
- Compile with all environmental, health, safety, and housekeeping programs.
- Responsible for department safety.
Education and Experience :
Associates Degree in Business or similar discipline required.1-3 Years of Warehouse Supervisory Experience in a fast-paced environment required.Required Skills / Abilities :
