Outside Sales Representative Doors & Millwork

Location : Ocoee, FL, USA

Job Type : Full-Time

A leading supplier of high-quality doors and millwork products tailored for the residential construction market is seeking a motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling doors and millwork products specifically to residential home builders, with a proven track record of managing and growing significant sales volume. This role focuses on building long-term relationships, understanding client needs, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain relationships with residential home builders, contractors, and related stakeholders.
  • Manage a sales territory, identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
  • Present and sell doors and millwork products, highlighting product benefits, quality, and value.
  • Achieve and exceed annual sales targets, managing a portfolio of $3M+ in annual sales.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, quotes, and order follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and product developments to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Attend trade shows, builder meetings, and networking events to enhance market presence.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in outside sales, specifically selling doors and millwork to residential home builders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a $3M+ annual sales portfolio.
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction processes and product applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
