Dispatcher (Hazmat)

We are looking to hire an experienced Dispatcher / Dispatch Manager for our Hazmat business.

Job details :

• This person needs to have extensive experience with Hazmat loads as well as have experience with customer communication as the person hired will have lots of contact with our Customers.
• Experience with booking backhauls, tank washouts, is not required but would be nice to have day 1.
• The person needs to be detail oriented as they will be approving all of the paperwork, which can be up to 8-10 pages per load. It’s important to make sure that all of the information is accurate and ties from each page to page.

Also, this person needs to be proactive and understand that certain things may occur outside of their shift time. It is not meant to be a 24 / 7 job, but there will be a need to be available to help quickly resolve issues outside of their shift. There could be an issue that comes up that will have some ripple effects down the road if not handled immediately or at least communicated…proactive thought and communication is and will be paramount.

We will certainly provide the training but its important to note that this is not a “lifestyle” job. The entire team works very hard, anything less than that will not be tolerated from this position.

The amount we will offer will vary based on experience. Please note that we provided a range, please do not assume that will be your salary until we discuss.
