AlliedTravelCareers is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Flagstaff, Arizona, 86004!

$2,134 per week

About The Position

Job Title : Speech Language Pathologist

Profession : Speech Language Pathology

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Experience : Minimum of 1 year preferred; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply

License : Active license in Speech Language Pathology in the Client

Description :

Schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, with no weekends.

Typically, will work 40 hours per week.

If work is completed for the day, the temp will be sent home.

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will evaluate and treat residents / patients with various speech, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive disabilities while adhering to state and federal guidelines.

Evaluates the residents' / patients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency.

Develops treatment plans based on evaluations.

Implements treatment in accordance with the physician's treatment plan.

Screens and evaluates patients / residents to create appropriate care plans.

Provides direct patient / resident treatment under a physician's direction.

Plans, directs, or conducts rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communicative efficiency.

Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.

Instructs residents / patients, families, and caregivers on monitoring speech and practicing new skills.

Completes required forms and clinical records in line with policy and regulations.

Documents in patient records accurately and promptly.

Devises special tools and treatments tailored to the specific needs of patients.

Provides comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a clinical setting.

Collaborates with other rehabilitation therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team environment.

Maintains resident / patient privacy in accordance with regulations.

Ensures punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts.

Develops treatment plans, including short and long-term goals and methods to achieve identified goals.

Communicates the resident's / patient's speech therapy program to the family or guardian.

Keeps written documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, and weekly summaries.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Possesses current knowledge of effective speech therapy techniques.

Familiarity with clinical needs of the geriatric population is preferred.

Demonstrates strong clinical capabilities.
