Employment Type : Travel Nursing Contract

Healthcare Setting : Medical Surgical Unit

Start Date : November 10, 2025

End Date : February 9, 2026

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Shift : 12-Hour Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Weekend / Holiday Coverage : Required

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1610 - $1730

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license (required for Michigan healthcare jobs)

BLS certification (AHA required)

At least 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience

ICU nursing experience preferred

Completed nursing skills checklist within one year of application

Ability to provide physical copies of certifications upon request

Full-time McLaren employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect patient care to diverse age groups in a medical surgical setting

Utilize the nursing process for patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation

Apply knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan

Interpret patient data and deliver care in accordance with hospital and unit policies

Coordinate patient education and discharge planning

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate nursing documentation and uphold high standards of patient safety
