Job Summary

The Acute Care Patient Care Technician is responsible for delivering direct patient care within the scope of a Certified Nursing Assistant license. Duties include vital sign monitoring, cardiac telemetry support, phlebotomy, wound care, assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation. The role requires effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to respond promptly to patient needs.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant program.

Work Environment

This part-time, per diem position involves day shifts from 6 : 00 AM to 6 : 30 PM. The role supports a critical access hospital with emergency and trauma services, located in a scenic region known for outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, kayaking, and wildlife viewing.
