SUMMARY : Our warehouse team is looking for a Warehouse Associate that is reliable and hard-working to be able to support production and warehouse needs across the facility. We are looking for someone that will be responsible for supplying materials and ingredients to production departments in a timely manner.

Ensures all employees are treated consistently, fairly, ethically, and respectfullyResponsible for following established policies and procedures implemented at the operational level including food safety and qualityAdherence to all applicable Quality Assurance Standards (i.e., Good Manufacturing Practices, Allergen Control)Adherence to all applicable OSHA and Honolulu Cookie Company safety regulationsResponsible in maintaining Allergen food contact responsibilitiesProcess incoming shipments of raw ingredients and small shipments of supplies; verify code dates and case countAccurately scans and enters inventory information into database to record and track (Lot, SKU, Qty, Temperature); prints and applies item labels and performs cycle count as requiredProcess and maintain internal documentation for Quality Assurance and other department- related itemsAssist in company product trace exercises during QA plant audits, and provide proper documentationCommunicate to Lead / Supervisor if there is no product available in pick location or if the product is totally outEnsures all lot numbers are recorded upon receiving; materials that are considered direct food contact properly logged according to proceduresProperly stores and labels all materials (component and non-component, supplies and finished products)Replenishes, restocks and rotates all goods to ensure that all merchandise are rotated following FIFO methodNotify Purchasing Specialist(s) / Production Manager when product nears the expiration dateProperly records and disposes rejected ingredients, materials, trash and chemicalsOperates forklift, hand truck / warehouse carts, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment in a professional and safe mannerPerforms daily safety check of the assigned forklift in accordance with company policyTransports pallets of raw materials and supplies with forklift to production staging areas as neededTransport finished goods from production lines to warehouse storage or staging area with a forkliftCommunicates Safety / Quality / Operational issues to proper departments or responsible partiesEnsure warehouse and work areas are organized in a secure, safe and orderly fashionPerform other duties as assigned including housekeep of common areas and restroom, packing moving and setting up of furniture, cabinets, equipment, etc.EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
High school diploma or equivalentPrevious warehouse experience preferredForklift Certification preferredOTHER REQUIREMENTS :
Able to understand and follow oral or written work instructionsGood communication skillsAble to work with fellow coworkers in a professional mannerDemonstrate ability to work effectively in a team environmentSelf-motivated. Able to work independently with minimal supervisionPosition works in a manufacturing environment with varying conditionsAble to sit or stand and walk throughout the scheduled work shiftAble to lift and / or move up to 60 lbs. on a continuous basis throughout the workdayBusiness needs may require support outside of normal work hours
