Job descriptionFull-time, direct hire opportunity Day Shift Schedule : (5) 8-hour shifts or (4) 10-hour shifts Setting : Outpatient clinic Great therapy leadership and administration team Student Loan Assistance of $40,000 The Outpatient Occupational Therapist will review the Physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required Instructs, motivates, and assists patients to perform various physical activities and in the use of assistive and supportive devices such as crutches, canes, and prostheses Outpatient Occupational Therapist records treatment, response, and progress in the patient's chart or enters information into the computer Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Must have an active TX OT License, or the ability to obtain Certified Lymphedema Therapist, Neurology, or Pelvic Health specialist preferred No experience required - Training provided This unique city sits at the crossroads of diverse Texas landscapes and boasts a rich history and vibrant culture Home to three beautiful lakes and a gorgeous river Consistently ranked as one of the best small cities for business, employment, and retirement The town is a short road trip away from major cities like San Antonio, Austin, and Fort Worth
