The Activity Coordinator plans, organizes, and implements a variety of recreational, social, and therapeutic programs designed to enhance the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents in an assisted living community.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain a monthly activity calendar that meets the interests and abilities of all residents.
Lead and participate in group and individual activities.
Coordinate special events, outings, and community involvement programs.
Maintain activity records and resident participation logs.
Collaborate with other departments to promote resident engagement and quality of life.
Ensure all activities comply with facility policies and state regulations.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (degree in recreation therapy or related field preferred).
Experience working with seniors in a healthcare or residential setting.
Strong communication, creativity, and organizational skills.
Compassionate, energetic, and team-oriented personality.
