• Monday - Friday 7 am - 3 pm / 6 pm with weekend surgical call 1 : 4-6
• 70% inpatient first assisting in OR, 30% floor work / ICU, no clinic
• Hospital setting
• 1100 cases annually
• First assist in heart transplants, VADS, thoracic MAZE procedures
• Manage post-operative care in ICU and step-down unit
• Average surgery length 1.5 hours, standard cases 2 - 2.5 hours
• 99% standard procedures, no robotic surgery
