Registered Nurse - Per Diem

We offer flexible schedules with 12-hour night and day shifts ensuring your work-life balance remains intact.\n\nUnder direction, oversees and conducts a variety of professional nursing services in a hospital, emergency, or outpatient setting or home care services; acts as charge nurse for assigned locations and shifts; and performs other job-related duties as required.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to : \n

• Plans, organizes, oversees, and personally conducts the delivery of patient care as directed by physicians and other higher-level nursing staff in the hospital, emergency room, or outpatient settings.\n
• Acts as the team leader with other professionals and Para-professionals in the delivery of patient care services.\n
• Oversees compliance with infection control and safety regulations of the hospital.\n
• Plans, organizes, and coordinates the admission of patients : establishes patient care plan and coordinates under the direction of the M.D. / DO plan of care.\n
• Maintains patient charts covering treatments, care, and progress.\n
• Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with patients, families, medical staff, and other fellow workers in the care team.\n
• Acts as liaison between nursing and other units.\n
• Consults with other professional staff on the care of patients and the provision of nursing services.\n\nExperience : \n
• Two years of experience performing professional nursing duties, preferably, in a small general acute care hospital.\n
• Two years of bedside nursing experience in med surg unit.\n\nLicensures / Certifications : \n
• Valid certificate of registration issued by the State of California Board of Registered Nurses\n
