Medical Director Hospital Medicine in MAFull-Time, PermanentRole Summary : Lead the Hospital Medicine team by setting high standards for patient care, improving operations, and supporting team development.Key Responsibilities : Daily Operations : oOversee hospitalist schedules (Amion) and staffing.oManage patient flow and distribution.oHandle clinical concerns and staff callouts. Leadership & Team Support : oServe as Administrator-On-Call.oRecruit and interview providers.oSupport APPs and new provider onboarding.oAddress professionalism and performance issues. Quality & Safety : oRespond to incident reports.oLead quality improvement efforts, including stroke care. Meetings & Communication : oAttend department and hospital-wide meetings.oEnsure clear communication around discharges, transfers, and patient care concerns.Schedule & Reporting : Time Split : 50% Clinical / 50% Administrative Reports To : Department Chair & CMO
