Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of recent MRI experience and ARRT certification for a night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital MRI department within the radiology / cardiology unit
  • Night shift schedule : Monday through Friday, 10 : 00 PM to 6 : 30 AM
  • Weekend shifts may be required as needed
  • GE MRI systems are used and proficiency is required
  • Willingness to work up to two major holidays if assignment coincides with Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's
  • RTO must be included at time of application; no exceptions for time off after offer
  • Previous employees must be separated for one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
  • Dress code and scrubs requirements will be provided during orientation
  • Vaccination status must be included with application
  • Floating is rare but may occur within similar units or campuses
  • No locals are accepted as defined by a 100-mile radius

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience required
  • ARRT certification required
  • At least 1 completed travel assignment is required
  • First-time travelers must have a minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Proficiency in operating GE MRI systems is mandatory
  • Must provide a valid driver's license for consideration
  • Local candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility
  • Pending licensure is not accepted; all licenses must be active and compliant with NLC guidelines
  • Cerner charting experience preferred
  • License required if applicable
