Job Type : Full-Time, 1st Shift (6 : 00am–2 : 30pm)

About the Opportunity

Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division is hiring a Boiler Operator to join its Syracuse-based team. In this critical maintenance role, you'll operate and maintain complex powerhouse systems including high-pressure boilers, steam stations, and compressed air systems.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in industrial facilities, especially those who enjoy troubleshooting mechanical and electrical components.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate, install, and repair high-pressure steam boilers, air compressors, and associated equipment
  • Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on pumps, motors, and power generation systems
  • Troubleshoot both analog and digital control systems
  • Conduct chemical tests to ensure boiler performance and safety
  • Read and interpret electrical / plumbing diagrams and mechanical blueprints
  • Use hand tools, pipe fitting equipment, torches, and soldering tools as required
  • Maintain energy management systems, including time schedule entry and updates
  • Repair and replace piping systems carrying steam, water, gas, compressed air, and oil

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience with steam boilers, air compressors, motors, pumps, electrical equipment, and pressurized piping
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and mechanical blueprints
  • U.S. work authorization required

    • Preferred :

  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • 5+ years in a powerhouse technician role
  • Mechanical troubleshooting and equipment repair skills
