SOP Documentation Specialist

Location : Skokie, IL (Hybrid 1 day onsite per week; travel approx. 1x per month)

Industry : Real Estate

Pay : $45 $60 / hour

Our client is a well-established real estate organization managing a large national property portfolio. They're launching a companywide initiative to standardize operating procedures across departments to improve efficiency, compliance, and onboarding consistency. This executive-backed project is highly visible and designed to create lasting organizational impact.

Job Description :

Addison Group is seeking a SOP Documentation Specialist to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of process documentation across multiple business units. This individual will work closely with department leaders to build clear, effective SOPs and guide them through tool usage, documentation methods, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Meet with department heads to understand current workflows and documentation needs.
  • Build a detailed project plan outlining timelines, milestones, and ownership.
  • Coach leaders on creating effective SOPs using company tools and templates.
  • Review, refine, and finalize SOPs for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on best practices for process documentation.
  • Present updates and deliverables to senior leadership.

Qualifications :

  • 46+ years of experience in process documentation or SOP project management.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Strong skills in MS Office and SharePoint; experience with Scribe preferred.
  • Experience in compliance-heavy industries (financial services, legal, healthcare, or similar).
  • Highly organized, proactive, and self-directed.
  • Ability to travel 1 time per month
