Education
Required - Completion of a CAHEA approved formal training program in diagnostic medical sonography.
Work Experience
Required - 2 years of sonographer experience.
Certifications
Required - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)
Advanced certification in area(s) of specialty according to facility need.
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
Required - Certification by The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in the areas of Abdominal
