Payroll Clerk Opportunity
We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team in East Multnomah County. This Contract-to-permanent position requires someone who is passionate about ensuring payroll accuracy and enjoys collaborating with employees across the organization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining payroll systems and assisting with various HR-related tasks to support our growing team.
Responsibilities :
- Process bi-weekly payroll for a workforce of approximately 100 employees, including both hourly and salaried staff.
- Manage payroll reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurate and properly documented.
- Handle expense reimbursements and bonus processing in a timely manner.
- Administer 401(k) reconciliations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with employees to address payroll-related inquiries and provide exceptional support.
- Assist with benefits administration, including reconciling benefits bills and supporting employee enrollment.
- Maintain payroll systems, ensuring data accuracy and efficient operation.
- Utilize ADP Workforce Now and Excel tools such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPs for reporting and data analysis.
- Take initiative to request additional projects or tasks when primary responsibilities are completed.
Requirements :
Proven experience in payroll processing, including bi-weekly payroll for up to 100 employees.Proficiency in using ADP and other HRIS payroll systems.Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create pivot tables and use VLOOKUP functions.Familiarity with payroll reconciliations and benefits administration.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees and resolve inquiries.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.Interest or experience in HR-related functions such as onboarding and benefits support.High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality.
