Customer Technical Services Representative

Silgan Containers seeks a Customer Technical Services Representative to work remotely from the Minneapolis, MN area.

What You'll Do :

  • Act as a technical liaison between Silgan's manufacturing teams and our customers by delivering expert advice and technical solutions for packaging.
  • Investigate, address, and resolve customer concerns, to uphold product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee customer packaging initiatives, deliver technical education, and conduct testing to meet project and quality requirements.
  • Contribute to new product development initiatives, cost-saving strategies, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure quality standards by coordinating product evaluations and testing at customer sites.
  • Assess materials and review performance specifications, container applications, and materials substitutions related to customer container use.
  • What We Need You To Have :

  • A bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Packaging, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong listening, verbal, and written skills to engage and build customer relationships.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 25% annually.
