Mechanical Design Engineer EIT

A company is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer for a remote, contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Develop material models and support novel analysis methodologies in the Mechanical Design discipline

Generate basic sizing calculations for reactor components

Perform mechanical analyses using finite element method with commercial codes

Required Qualifications

B.S. in Mechanical or related discipline from an accredited university and 4+ years of relevant experience

M.S. in Mechanical or related discipline with 2+ years of experience

Engineer in training (EIT) or licensed PE desired

Recent experience with mechanical analysis software (ANSYS preferred)

Proficiency in CAD software (Solidworks preferred)
