Field Construction Superintendent

G.L. Hunt Foundation Repair is seeking an experienced Field Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of foundation repair projects, ensuring all activities comply with company standards and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have a profound knowledge of construction processes, excellent team management skills, and a firm commitment to safety and quality. Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Monitor and enforce strict compliance with safety regulations among all site personnel and subcontractors. Inspect work sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards and to ensure that specifications are met. Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and plan sets to correctly lay out projects and foresee potential issues or improvements. Communicate project progress to senior managers and clients through detailed reports and presentations. Manage procurement and supply of materials in collaboration with other staff to ensure timely execution of projects. Train and mentor construction workers and subcontractors, fostering a cooperative and positive work environment.
