The team member (welder) at our Nicholasville, KY location involves working collaboratively to fabricate housing units for mobile solutions filtration systems in an innovative team-oriented environment. This is a 2nd shift onsite role, with hours Monday - Thursday 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. Role responsibilities include working safely and observing all EHS rules, fitting, welding together and detailing equipment assemblies out of sheet steel and structural steel, setting up and operating different types of welders, reading blueprints and understanding written and verbal instructions, using mechanical ability, work instructions and hand tools to complete daily tasks, completing quality checks and filling out appropriate paperwork for record, material handling and transportation of product, complying with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures, complying with all health and safety policies and procedures, and using all designated personal protective equipment as required. Minimum qualifications to perform this job successfully include prior welding experience and / or welding certifications, reading blueprints, fitting / tack weldment assemblies, operating industrial fork trucks and overhead cranes, and a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include performing a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment, interacting constructively and effectively with all plant employees, reacting to change productively and handling other tasks as assigned, and maintaining a pattern of regular and predictable attendance.
