About the Role
Capella Space is seeking a Test Engineer to join the Development Verification Test Engineering team in San Francisco, CA. The DVT team is responsible for the lifecycle of test engineering of spacecraft hardware design, including supporting ground test infrastructure. From initial design, verification and validation, qualification, to delivery to production, DVT test engineers collaborate cross‑functionally with electrical, mechanical, RF, software, and sensors design teams to test and qualify all spacecraft hardware to functional, performance and reliability requirements. This position provides growth opportunities for either a dynamic or a specialized role depending on the interest and qualifications of the candidate. We are hiring multiple engineers across various levels. Experience and skills will determine level and related compensation.

The annual salary range for this role is $116,000.00 – $145,000.00. The final job level and annual salary will be determined based on the education, qualification, knowledge, skills, ability, and experience of the final candidate(s), specific office location and calibrated against relevant market data and internal team equity.
