PA Maintenance Manager
Pay Range + Bonus Eligibility
$94,000-$140,000 range plus Bonus Eligibility of 15%
Relocation
Available, reimbursement of actual costs up to $15,000 (grossed up using flat supplemental rate of 22% for tax purposes)
Position Overview
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning and directing all maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations. This role leads a team of maintenance technicians, drives maximum machine uptime, and collaborates with engineering resources to provide technical guidance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Maintenance Operations : Manage and direct the maintenance department to achieve business objectives.
- Safety & Compliance : Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and promote a positive, safe work environment.
- Preventive & Predictive Maintenance : Collaborate on maintenance plans to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
- Budget Management : Prepare and monitor departmental budgets; ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Problem Solving : Analyze downtime, identify root causes, and implement action plans for improvement.
- Technical Leadership : Support technicians daily, provide guidance, and implement systems for problem-solving and accountability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Communicate with plant management on technical issues and performance metrics.
- Continuous Improvement : Pursue opportunities for efficiency and support capital improvement projects.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field (or equivalent experience).8+ years of combined technical and management experience, preferably in food manufacturing.Knowledge of GFSI / BRC, SQF, GMP, HACCP, and other food safety standards.Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools (iPad, OneNote).Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.Strong knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, instrumentation, and control.Physical ability to lift to 52 lbs. and stand for long periods; flexible schedule including weekends as needed.This is a growth opportunity with a world class leader.
