Family Medicine Opportunity in Boise, ID (W. Emerald)

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) - a physician led and accountable 600+ provider multispecialty group practice - is seeking a Family Medicine physician to work full-time at its W. Emerald clinic located in Boise, Idaho.

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group W. Emerald is a busy, well-established practice located near the main hospital campus of Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. SAMG W. Emerald has long established providers dedicated to providing services for a full spectrum of family practice patients. The clinic also includes an on-site Urgent Care, Orthopedic Urgent Care, digital x-ray, and laboratory. The clinic utilizes the Epic for Electronic Medical Record and Computerized Order Entry.

Support includes 24 / 7 CRNA Anesthesia; Level IV Trauma Center; ED; Saint Alphonsus FM clinic on-site; community family medicine clinics; SAHS specialty physicians rotate in outreach, larger system resources.

The schedule for this full-time opportunity is a traditional clinic work week, Monday through Friday, with no less than 34 hours of scheduled patient contact time. Practice call is shared with other eligible members in the SAMG Department of Family Medicine and is currently 1 : 30+.

Requirements for this opportunity include :

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Successful completion of an accredited ACGME / AOA Family Medicine residency program
• Board certification through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP) or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment .
• Obtain Idaho medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases.
• Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy & DEA.
