A top-10 AmLaw firm is seeking an Employment Transactions Attorney to join its Corporate / Private Equity Practice in Atlanta as part of a Professional Track Attorney program . This is a high-impact opportunity for a motivated litigator to manage sophisticated matters and provide strategic counsel in a dynamic, fast-paced practice.
Candidate Profile
JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
Active Bar Admission in Georgia , in good standing
2-4 years of substantive labor & employment law experience
Experience handling company-side employment matters , including research , counseling , and contract drafting
Demonstrated interest in employment-related components of corporate transactions , including M&A diligence
Strong analytical, research, and written communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to organize complex information efficiently
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment
Professionalism, responsiveness, and sound judgment in client-facing interactions
Key Responsibilities
Lead employment-related diligence for M&A and private equity transactions
Analyze employment , benefits , and workforce issues arising during transactional reviews
Draft and review employment-related contracts and provisions , including restrictive covenants and offer materials
Conduct legal research and prepare clear, well-reasoned memoranda for partners and clients
Address day-to-day employment counseling questions for corporate clients
Collaborate closely with partners, associates, and professional track attorneys across practice areas
Support client initiatives through timely, accurate, and strategic work product
Assist with pro bono matters and contribute to the firm's broader community-engagement efforts

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Compensation : Annual base salary is expected to range from $150,000 - $300,000 , depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors
Discretionary bonus opportunities are also available
