Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in Winchester, Virginia.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty : Nuclear Medicine Technologist

  • Shift : 8 hours, days

Job Duties :

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including imaging and non-imaging studies, following established protocols
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety standards and regulations
  • Operate imaging equipment (e.g., SPECT / CT) and ensure proper calibration and maintenance
  • Monitor patients during procedures and assess for adverse reactions
  • Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in the EMR (EPIC)
  • Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure quality diagnostic outcomes
  • Maintain radiation safety protocols for patients, staff, and self
  • Respond to consultations across various departments as part of a mobile imaging team

    • Qualifications & Requirements :

  • Certification : ARRT (N) required
  • License : Valid Virginia Radiologic Technologist License or VA Temporary License (must verify status before start)
  • Certifications : BLS (AHA only)
  • Experience : Minimum 2+ years of recent Nuclear Medicine Tech experience in an acute care setting
  • EMR Experience : EPIC preferred
  • Other : Must be comfortable working in a mobile team environment and adapting to varied patient types
