Job descriptionWork in a Labor & Delivery unit within a tertiary care hospital Care for pregnant and postpartum patients at any gestational age accepted by provider teams Triage responsibilities for all admitted maternal patients Utilize GE fetal monitors, GE telemetry monitors, Monica wireless fetal monitoring, Neopuff, and Draeger newborn warmers Night shifts with a 3x12 schedule from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00 Every other weekend required Floating to other units is expected Electronic charting with Epic; proficiency required Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and postpartum patients Team coverage and support for triage and delivery care Compliance with navy bottoms and navy or white tops for scrubs Completion of pre-assignment modules is required Return staff policy requires at least one year since prior employment Time off requests must be submitted with application Up to 3 call-off shifts permitted per 13-week contract Active NY RN license in hand is required for consideration Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience Certifications required : BLS, NRP, EFM, and OB-ACLS or ACLS Proficiency with Epic EMR required Experience with equipment including GE fetal and telemetry monitors, Monica wireless fetal monitoring, Neopuff, and Draeger newborn warmers Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
