Facility : East Cooper Medical Center

Location : Mount Pleasant, SC

Department : Neonatal- ICU

Position Type : Full Time

Work Schedule : 3 12s per week and 1 12 hr call required per 6 week schedule.

What Were Looking For : Education : High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.

Experience : Two years relevant experience, preferred.

Licensure / Certification : Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.

ENPC, TNCC or CEN; preferred.

NRP Certification

STABLE certification

Current BCLS

What Youll Do : Position Summary

Under the direction of the Department Director and / or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse provides safe, high-quality, and compassionate nursing care to neonatal patients. Responsibilities include :

  • Delivering direct and indirect professional nursing care
  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating healthcare needs for all assigned patients
  • Caring for infant to geriatric patients, unless otherwise specified
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to meet unit and hospital goals
  • Maintaining a customer-focused approach while providing evidence-based care
  • Willingness to float to other comparable nursing units, as needed
