Certification and License Requirements :

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification (preferred but not mandatory)

Job Description :

Join the dedicated team at Springfield Hospital as a Registered Nurse in our Med Surg / Tele unit. This fast-paced, high-quality environment offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional patient care across a variety of medical conditions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering safe, compassionate, and efficient nursing care to adult patients.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide direct patient care in a Med Surg / Tele environment, managing a patient load of approximately 1 : 5.

Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV therapy and other advanced procedures.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.

Ensure accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress.

Provide patient education and support to promote recovery and well-being.

Assist with occasional PCU (Progressive Care Unit) responsibilities on a 3 : 1 patient ratio, including non-negotiable drip medication administration and charge nurse duties.

What You Bring :

At least 1 year of recent RN experience in Med Surg or Tele units.

Proven competency in managing IV drips and complex medication administration.

Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs and work under pressure during night shifts.

Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Education & Experience :

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (ASN or BSN).

Previous experience working in an acute care hospital setting.

Experience with PCU patient care and managing complex medication regimens.

Additional Details :

This assignment is scheduled to end on March 22, 2026, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.

The hourly rate is $429.31, with a taxable weekly pay of $642.42.

Holiday RTO requests are not available; all scheduling requests are already reserved.

Holiday multiplier of 1.25% applies; overtime will be compensated at regular rate.

Travelers must be able to work charge nurse and drip responsibilities.
