We are actively looking to hire a  Complex Claims Specialist  to join our team!

About the role :

• Handle complex medical liability claims with a focus on strategic resolution and strong client service.
• Conduct thorough investigations, verify coverage, and maintain detailed, accurate claim files.
• Set appropriate indemnity and expense reserves based on high-exposure claim assessments.
• Lead negotiations and drive resolution strategies; attend mediations and trials when necessary.
• Manage key client relationships and collaborate with underwriting to support marketing initiatives.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance through both formal and informal training.
• Ensure compliance with industry Best Practices and maintain exceptional data integrity.
• Partner with defense counsel to manage litigation strategies and ensure proactive case management.
• Bachelor’s degree or JD required; minimum 5 years of claims experience, preferably in medical professional liability.
• NY adjuster’s license required within 6–12 months; must be able to work on site and travel as needed.

Salary : $127,000 +
