Maintenance Technician

Location : San Marcos, TX

Job Type : Contract-to-Hire

Schedule : 1st Shift – Four 10-hour days (Monday–Thursday), with frequent Friday work

Pay : Competitive hourly rate based on experience

About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our growing team at a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on food processing and facility equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems (low and high voltage)
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues involving hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gears, pumps, and chillers
• Support general building maintenance (lighting, doors, appliances)
• Fabricate minor parts as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for parts and services
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and update preventive maintenance schedules
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and GMP protocols
• Lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the shift

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00 / hr.
