B2B Sales Consultant – Interior Design & Trades
Location : Chicagoland (Remote, Full-Time)
Schedule : Mon–Fri, 8–5 or 9–6 CST; occasional evening networking
Behind the Design is growing. We’re hiring a full-time, single-brand B2B Sales Consultant to own the sales cycle end-to-end—prospecting, discovery, closing, and ongoing relationship management—within the luxury window treatment and interior design space.

- Uncapped commission (Base + Commission or Commission-Only—your choice)

What You’ll Do
Prospect interior designers, firm owners, and trade decision-makersRun high-value discovery calls; position consulting & recruiting solutionsRepresent the brand at networking events, trade shows, and national conferencesPartner with marketing on talks, workshops, and content-driven demandManage your pipeline in the CRM from lead gen through contract & invoicingMaintain consistent follow-up with past clients and new leads (calls, email, social)Hit and exceed monthly closed-won targetsWho You Are
3+ years B2B sales with a proven track record of hitting goalsHunter–farmer who converts : prospecting, nurturing, and closing come naturallyConfident leading high-ticket consultative conversationsExcellent communicator; comfortable networking and public speakingOrganized, resilient, goal-driven, and collaborative; adept with remote tools / CRMBonus Points
