Job description

Bilingual Licensed Therapist

Location : Jackson Heights, NY

Start Date : ASAP

Schedule : Full-time (37.5 hrs / week) Flexible between the hours listed below

Facility Operating Hours : Monday–Thursday 9am–9pm | Friday / Saturday 9am–5pm

Pay Rate : $38.46 / hr

Work Type : Hybrid (3 days remote, 2 days in office)

Status : Contract-to-Hire

Position Overview

Licensed Therapist to provide high-quality therapeutic care to a diverse client base. Therapists will serve children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families , with opportunities to specialize in :

  • Trauma-focused therapy
  • LGBTQIA+ affirming care
  • Justice-involved populations
  • Other clinical specialties

You will deliver both individual and group therapy sessions in-office and via telehealth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct intakes, psychosocial assessments, and risk evaluations.
  • Provide individual, couples, family, group, and crisis counseling.
  • Use trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions with diverse populations.
  • Collaborate with prescribers, supervisors, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Facilitate or co-facilitate group therapy and support clinical initiatives.

    • Qualifications

    Must Have :

  • Active NY license (LFMT, LMHC, LMSW, or LCSW).
  • Experience providing therapy (in-person and virtual).
  • Strong clinical and documentation skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Background in behavioral health or substance abuse settings.
