Substance Use Treatment Counselor

CoreCivic is seeking a dedicated Substance Use Treatment Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be equipped to perform the following responsibilities :

• Conduct interviews and assessments for program participants, utilizing a variety of screening tools to collect necessary data and build rapport.
• Facilitate both individual and group treatment sessions in collaboration with CoreCivic partners, adhering to all applicable state regulations and policies.
• Encourage participant engagement throughout the treatment process, helping to develop positive coping skills and attitudes towards recovery.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of each participant's clinical files, including intake documents, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, while complying with relevant laws and regulations.
• Document treatment plans, monitor participant progress, and review treatment statuses to affirm completion of programs and interventions.
