Aborn Pet Hospital is growing! We just completed a full hospital renovation, with added exam rooms. We are currently looking to hire 2 Registered Veterinary Technicians to join our team!
- Salary : $30 - 35 per hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location.
- Schedule : Full-time, Five, 8-hour shifts per week. Part-time, up to 3 shifts per week. Must be willing to work on Saturday. Closed Sunday and Major Holidays.
- Location : 40951 Grimmer Blvd, Fremont, CA 94538
- Additional Benefits : Continuing education allowance up to $800 annually and license reimbursement.

Our busy, four doctor practice sees a variety of pets from cats and dogs to small mammals and birds. We aim to provide owners with sound, honest choices for their pets and to provide our patients with excellent and compassionate medical care. Who You Are :
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in California, or eligible to transfer / acquire state license within 3 months of hire3 + years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary technician or assistantDegree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.Knowledge of industry tools and equipmentPassion for working with animals and their ownersExperience with proper animal handling and restraintSolid understanding of animal behavior and healthcareUnderstands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skillsDental Experience, scaling, polishing, extractions, suturingSkilled in IV Catheter placement, urinary catheter placement, applying casts, bandages and splintsAnesthesia monitoring and surgical experience including intubation, monitoring, pre-operative and post-operative careLaboratory skills including cytology set-up and interpretationDiagnostic experience including digital radiology, dental radiology, and ultrasound-guided cystocentesisAnd all other duties of a Registered Veterinary Technician as allowable by lawWhat Makes Us Different
