Position Summary

POSITION SUMMARY : There has never been a more exciting time to work in research and development at Andersen. This engineer will be an integral member of the New Product Development team. The purpose of this role is to develop new products and services via Stage-Gate product development processes.

Responsibilities

• Designs, plans, collects, analyzes, and reports on experimental studies and / or new product concepts / ideas.
• Applies engineering rigor to product designs; ensuring the product will meet performance expectations and delight customers.
• Shows independent creativity and initiative for business and organizational contributions
• Drives discussions and decisions on overall project objectives with managers and other functional leaders.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead activities on technically challenging assignments
• Develop multiple concepts related to meeting a customer need
• Evaluate and recommend engineering and design solutions
• Create and present reports summarizing technical analysis and business viability to varied audiences
• Maintain primary technical communication responsibility, lead tactical discussions, and effectively communicate with all levels of internal and external customers and staff.

Compensation

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $99,216 - $153,784.

Profit Sharing : In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
