Weekend Regional RN Clinical Manager

The Weekend Regional RN Clinical Manager provides weekend oversight and clinical operations support for 3 branch locations in the state of South Carolina, while driving operational efficiency and supporting branch-level field-based clinical teams.

Position Type : Remote

Branch Location(s) : South Carolina

On-Call Expectation : Participation in the weekend on-call rotation is required as part of this role.

This position requires weekend and night availability, with scheduled hours spanning Friday afternoon through Sunday evening to support clinical operations across multiple branch locations.

Responsibilities include :

  • Conducting / delegating the assessment and reassessment of patients, including updating of care plans and interpreting patient needs.
  • Managing the assignment of caregivers.
  • Overseeing the delivery of care to all patients served by the location.
  • Instructing and guiding clinicians to promote more effective performance and delivery of quality home care services.
  • Assisting clinicians in establishing immediate and long-term therapeutic goals.
  • Monitoring cases to ensure documentation is following compliance with regulatory agencies and requirements of third-party payers.
  • Coordinating communication between team members / attending physicians / caregivers.
  • Working in conjunction with the Branch Director and Company Finance Department to establish location's revenue and budget goals.
  • Participating in sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Supervising all clinical employees assigned to a specific location.
  • Handling necessary employee corrective action and discipline issues.
  • Participating in the interviewing, hiring, training, and development of direct care clinicians.
  • Assessing staff education needs and conducting regular staff education as needed.
  • Analyzing situations, identifying problems, and evaluating alternative courses of action.
  • Reviewing the appropriate number of Case Managers and clinical staff documentation.
  • Interpreting Company standards and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities.

Education and Experience

Education :

  • Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
  • License / Certifications :

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact State RN license with authorization to practice in the state of South Carolina.
  • Proof of current CPR card and / or BLS certification.
  • Required Experience / Skills :

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Home health experience is required.
  • Management and people leadership experience is preferred.
  • OASIS experience is required. OASIS certification (HCS-O, COQS, and / or COS-C), preferred.
  • Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience is required.
  • Foundational knowledge and basic understanding of CMS PDGM is required.
  • Travel : While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

    Scheduled Weekly Hours : 40

    Pay Range : $77,200 - $106,200 per year
