Description
Rite Track is looking for a Production Technician responsible for building, testing, repairing, and troubleshooting electro- mechanical assemblies and machines. The Technician will be responsible tool builds, sub-assembly builds, decontamination of tools, electrical modifications, mechanical assembly, layout, final testing, and tool assembly ownership. Experienced Technician responsibilities will also include installations, tech service, field service, and assisting less experienced employees.
Responsibilities
- Assists with the manufacturing, repair, and testing of electro-mechanical assemblies of beginner, intermediate or advanced complexity.
- Accurately follow assembly prints and procedures including electrical and fluid diagrams.
- Decontamination of equipment used in the semiconductor wet processing field. This responsibility requires the proper use and knowledge of PPE, MSDS, and Safety protocols.
- Complete sub-assembly builds, electrical and mechanical work, layout, and final testing of semiconductor wet processing equipment to precise customer specifications.
- Tool assembly ownership requiring close attention to timelines and tracking the progress of the build. Communicate clearly to coordinate with coworkers, management, and customer.
- Experienced technician will perform tool installations and service repairs of equipment in the field. Accomplishment of these tasks requires comprehension of the system and subsystem function, interaction, and operation. Travel will be required to fulfill these duties.
- Mentor other technicians on the production floor with less experience providing guidance and training.
- Comprehension and use of engineering releases, flow plans, and electrical schematics. Use method sheets to follow and understand procedures and highlight oversights or inaccuracies on documentation and ensure that they are corrected.
- Work in team atmosphere adhering to production floor practices and guidelines.

Good work history and strong work ethic with practical experience and knowledge of comprehensive electro-mechanics or electronics.Organizational skills, leadership ability, articulate, forthright, work well under pressure, positive communication style.Ensure quality workmanship and promote professional behavior.Ability to meet or exceed quality and cosmetic standards in the following areas : soldering, wire harnessing & cabling, and plumbing and tubing.Utilize fixtures, meters, and other test equipment to validate functionality.2 -10 years electro-mechanical experience in the semiconductor or related industry experience.Intermediate or advanced knowledge of track systems and their operationsAbility to work with Engineering Department to review and sometimes design electrical and fluid diagrams.Willingness to travel up to 20% of time, on short notice.Competency in manufacturing, troubleshooting, and repairing electro-mechanical assemblies.EDUCATION
Technical associate degree (EMET preferred) or equivalent.
