Marketing Coordinator

We’re looking for a new marketing coordinator for Trail Head Cyclery to oversee all aspects of marketing for the shop. The ideal candidate has a passion for mountain biking and a thorough knowledge of modern mountain bikes, brands, and components. We’re looking for someone who can be the voice and vision of Trail Head Cyclery and be a positive influence in our mountain bike community, both locally and online.

You’ll play a vital role in promoting our brick & mortar store, but also maintaining and growing our online presence through social media and ecommerce. Key aspects of this job include running our social media accounts, creating new content, managing our website in collaboration with our website platform, new product launches, and promoting our shop within our local community.

What you’ll do :

Manage all content creation for the shop. Photography, videography, and digital assets

Contribute, edit, and oversee the publishing of copy on brand websites, email marketing, social media, and other digital platforms

create new content for the website in the form of blog posts, landing pages

Work with partner brands on new product releases

Work with the sales and service teams and our POS system to promote certain products, services, and inventory

Create and implement ads with paid social media platforms, particularly Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ads.

Review Google Analytics to gauge website presence and performance, ability to adapt to what customers are searching for.

Manage communications with customers on social platforms. Respond to questions, comments, inquiries, etc

Create compelling content that will get positive engagement towards the shop and what we’re doing.

Own the content calendar, know what products and events are coming up, and plan accordingly.

What you’ll need :

Knowledge of modern mountain bikes, current trends, and a finger on the pulse of the latest and greatest bikes, gear, and trends

Equipment required : DSLR Camera to photograph high-quality imagery of products and events.

Equipment provided : Mac OS based computer for work / editing / content management. Adobe Creative Suite (lightroom, indesign, etc).

In short, you are in charge of all external-facing content, ensuring consistent tone of voice, adherence to brand style guides, and impeccable grammar.

An eye for product photography, the details, and the ability to produce clean digital assets

Familiarity with Mailchimp or other email publishing platforms is a bonus

Experience with website builders like Squarespace, Wix, etc. Workstand knowledge is a bonus.

Experience with social media scheduling tools is a bonus, particularly with Later.com
