Job Title : Senior Solutions Analyst / Technical Business Analyst

Location : Hybrid (1–2 days per week onsite in Lenexa, KS)

Duration : 12-Month Contract

Schedule : Core hours 8AM–5PM ET

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Analyst / Technical Business Analyst to join a dynamic product development team supporting innovative web-based payment, billing, and commerce solutions. This role focuses on bridging business needs and technical delivery while also driving product enhancement, integration, and quality improvements across a complex, cloud-based application environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing systems, workflows, and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define and document product requirements, use cases, and functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and architects to align business needs with scalable technical solutions.
  • Research solution alternatives, presenting pros and cons to support informed decision-making.
  • Develop detailed documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences in an Agile development environment.
  • Support and influence project execution by ensuring adherence to development standards, architectural goals, and application stability.
  • Create workflow diagrams, architecture maps, and technical documentation that clearly convey complex concepts.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years in a technical or solutions analyst role, ideally within web-based software product development.
  • Proven experience documenting and translating business needs into actionable technical requirements.
  • Strong understanding of web application development, APIs, and cloud-based architectures (Google Cloud Platform preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments—engineering, product, and business stakeholders—to achieve consensus.
  • Proficiency with tools for documentation, diagramming, and workflow analysis (e.g., UML, Lucidchart, Confluence, Jira).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Preferred Knowledge

  • Familiarity with data management, integration, and application architecture.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.
  • Experience with technical diagramming (cross-functional workflows, sequence diagrams, architecture topographies).
