Job descriptionThe candidate will assess and treat emotional and behavioral problems related to patient illness. The candidate will carry a caseload and will participate as a member of multi-disciplinary team and will assist patients in treatment planning. The candidate will document reports and attend multi-disciplinary meetings to review and plan ongoing IEP Objectives Assess clients’ needs, situations, strengths, and support networks to determine their goals. Develop plans to improve their clients’ well-being. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (preferred not required) Ability to respond immediately to crisis situations. Advocate for and help clients get resources that would improve their well-being. Follow up with clients to ensure that their situations have improved. Evaluate services provided to ensure that they are effective. Must have master’s degree of Social Work. NY State License as a LCSW, LMHC Annual Physical

Apex Therapeutic Services, LLC seeks Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). The ideal candidate must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with young people. Must be able to reliably travel to different locations.
